Small town shopping v. London

Where in London could you buy within a few hundred yards of each other, a fish kettle and US measuring cups, hiking gear for climbing up Snowdon, knitting needles and wool, children's shoes, and embroidery hoops. I know London could supply me with endless varieties of each but nothing beats a small market town with good independent shops that allows me to buy all those things within an hour and a half.
