Trainline.com: I wasn't the only one

Further to my posts of late March, yesterday's Guardian published this article detailing the various problems people are having with trainline.com including unfair and hidden charges, and cards being refused. Yesterday I went to Abergavenny station to get Tom's ticket for next week. I will admit that this isn't green even if I am heading that way for other reasons, which I was. And it doesn't save time, but it is quick once I'm there as it's a quiet country station, and there are no hidden costs. Oh, and they like my card.
