A perfect day

Sunday was lovely. The food was excellent - in particular the lamb which was meltingly soft and no effort to cook. For once the table was laid before the food was ready. Pudding was a pear and almond tart provided by Jack. Wonderful. And after a leisurely lunch most of us went for a walk along the river. Of course there are no pictures of the food as everyone wanted to eat it. And there are no pictures of the walk because the camera's battery had run down. But trust me, it was all lovely.
